Tasmanian Aboriginal Corporation

The Tasmanian Aboriginal Corporation (TAC) has rejected the ANMF’s feedback on items considered important by members. There will be a question for members as to whether to accept an agreement that contains wage increases of 7% and 6% but does not provide cultural leave or study leave as distinct leave categories. Healthe Care North West Private Hospital

Management is scrambling to talk to staff after the proposed agreement was rejected by 78.5% in a formal staff ballot, while refusing to make significant improvements at the bargaining table. Senior management will try to convince you that the wages offer was going to attract and retain sufficient nurses and that your workload concerns will be managed. View the latest update.

Anglicare

At recent bargaining meetings it was discovered that some nurses may be covered under the interim Fair Work Value Case, the ANMF has put the rationale to Anglicare who has taken it on advice and undertaken to have a response back to the ANMF as soon as possible. Further, the ANMF presented a claim that proposes to lift pay points for nurses to progress through, it is in direct response to the members claim that career advancement is difficult to obtain at Anglicare. The next scheduled meeting is to occur on Tuesday 3 December 2024. Following the conclusion of this meeting, the ANMF will distribute out a newsflash summary of discussions to date for members’ consideration.
