Respect Aged Care
In recent discussions Respect has told the ANMF they have already passed on a 3.75% wage increase, indicating that once the agreement is finalised, they would pay the remaining 1%. It remains uncertain if members were aware the wage offer received in July 2024 was from Respect as part of the negotiated wage offer or if the increase was part of the annual wage increase from the Government. The ANMF is seeking member feedback by way of a snap poll see ANMF EA Update 9 sent to all members on Friday 6 December 2024. Your feedback is an important part of the negotiations, and we welcome your comments. View the latest update.
Uniting AgeWell
The ANMF has now finalised the survey of members to form the Log of Claims (LoC), your responses have been collated and sent as a de-identified document to the employer. It is the ANMFs intention to speak about the LoC when all parties meet. Your employer has also presented a list of matters they wish to introduce into the agreement namely Personal Care Worker (PCW) medication allowance, a trial of a dual role employee doing both personal care and wellness duties. UAW is also proposing to revise the classifications of Home Care employees. The ANMF will keep members updated on the progress of the negotiation as they happen. View the latest update.
