Anglicare
Anglicare has presented their review that Nurses did not meet the criteria of the Interim Work Value Case, the ANMF will consult with members to understand their view on the matter. Meanwhile the negotiations for a replace agreement will move to the drafting stage although this is not expected to be completed prior until early 2025.
Eskleigh Foundation
Parties met for the first bargaining meeting on Tuesday 19 November 2024, strangely Eskleigh admitted they have yet to issue the Notice of Employee Representational Rights (NERRs) which is typically sent to employees prior to any bargaining happening. Despite this the ANMF spoke to your employer outlining why your Log of Claims (LoC) are important to you. Eskleigh has taken this on notice and have indicated they will have preliminary feedback for members when the parties next meet on Tuesday 17 December 2024. As negotiations occur the ANMF will keep members up to date by way of EA updates.
Calvary Hospital North
Concern was raised that neither campus will have hospital attendants during a two-week period. Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Calvary Hospital North has given written reassurance to members the 2-week period is a low period of activity with Christmas closure planned for theatres and most wards will have minimal inpatients during this period.
