Private Sector Updates – Statewide

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood

Lifeblood recently announced that they will be changing the rosters within their donor centre to better reflect the needs of the donors. ANMF Organisers attended the workplaces to be on hand for members in case you had any queries. If you would like to discuss roster changes, please contact the ANMF Member Support Team at membersupport@anmftas.org.au

Calvary Health Care

The ANMF thanks all members who have attended recent Log of Claim meetings, the Log of Claims has now been endorsed by members. Calvary representatives for bargaining have a copy of the claim items and have been in touch requesting a two week extension while Calvary settles other negotiations. They will then commence bargaining with us for a replacement Tasmanian agreement.

Anglicare

The ANMF has reached out to your employer to request further meetings to finalise the EA, but Anglicare has declined the invitation. Instead, Anglicare has indicated they have prepared an updated draft, and in doing so, passed on a 3.5% wage increase to all employees from the first full pay period (FFPP), Tuesday 1 July 2025.  Unfortunately, Anglicare has not indicated where they stand on providing the wage increase that was due to nurses from Saturday 1 March 2025. The ANMF continues to push to have this funding passed onto RNs and ENs employed at Anglicare.

Updates are correct as of Wednesday 23 July 2025.
