May Shaw management has revealed that it is paying you a 3.5% wage increase outside of Enterprise Agreement (EA) bargaining. This wage increase will apply from the first full pay period on or after Tuesday 1 July 2025, meaning you will see it in your pay slip for the period ending Sunday 27 July 2025.
EA bargaining is expected to continue.
The ANMF will be seeking your direction on the next steps and bargaining priorities in light of this development. If you have any questions or feedback, please speak to your ANMF workplace delegate.
North West
Meercroft Care Inc
Negotiations for the new Meercroft Care Inc. Enterprise Agreement (EA) are underway, with parties on track to commit to regular bargaining meetings.
We expressed dissatisfaction with the information provided in your employer’s most recent payroll audit. We requested a second audit be conducted with a larger sample size that is more representative of the Meercroft Care staff. View the latest update
Emmerton Park
It has been a full year since negotiations commenced with Emmerton Park management for a replacement EA to improve wages and conditions for its nursing, direct care and general staff.

Christian Homes Tasmania
Christian Homes Tasmania (CHT) management is proceeding with a quick vote on a proposed EA, in which the first wage increase would be from 1 July 2026.
As previously reported, CHT has applied a general 3.5% wage increase from the First Full Pay Period on or After (FFPPA) 1 July 2025. CHT decided to apply this increase outside of bargaining, and it is not dependent on staff voting to endorse the EA. View the latest update
Queen Victoria Care
Queen Victoria Care (QVC) management is yet to improve its 2.75% wage offer for nurses, while several other aged care providers the ANMF is negotiating with have increased wages for nurses by 3.5% from this July. View the latest update
