Private Sector Updates – Statewide

The District Nurses

District Nurses management has tabled a revised offer that includes a backpay component but would continue to include Enrolled Nurse (EN) wage rates 6% below May Shaw and Registered Nurse (RN) Level 2 wage rates10% below Southern Cross Care.

There is no movement from the first offer in terms of the wage rates from the commencement of the agreement; however, there is a revised offer of a 3% wage increase for all nurse classifications with effect from 1 January 2025, which will come in the form of backpay. View the latest update.

Following consistent low wage offers, delegates endorsed the ANMF to seek Protected Industrial Actions Orders. It was determined these orders would show your employer you are serious about the low wage offer and that your request for these to be increased needed to be heeded. Pleasingly, your employer has revised their wage offer. The ANMF looks forward to meeting with the District Nurses executive team to finalise the agreement in the coming weeks.

Anglicare

The ANMF has now received the final draft. We are preparing for Anglicare to announce an access period for all employees. Once we have these details, we will inform our members of the voting period.

Updates are correct as of 20 August 2025.
