Spencer Clinic

On Friday 18 July 2025, the ANMF, formally notified a Step 1 Grievance as per the Tasmanian Nurses and Midwives [Tasmanian State Service] Award 2024, Part VII, Section 2: Workload Management S2013 on behalf of members from Spencer Clinic. Members concerns were not acknowledged in correspondence dated Friday 25 July 2025, or Monday 4 August 2025, and actions to date have not addressed the workload concerns. View the latest update. 

North West Regional Hospital (NWRH)

Emergency Department (ED)

The ANMF has worked closely with ED management and industrial representatives from the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) / Department of Health (DoH) to resolve part of your workload grievance, which was listed for conciliation before the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) on Tuesday 7 October 2025. Mersey Community Hospital (MCH)

Storm Damage

The ANMF has been made aware of the significant damage sustained to the MCH in Latrobe during the early hours of Friday morning 10 October 2025, following destructive winds of up to 125km/h that swept across northern Tasmania. We understand that there has been considerable damage to the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD), ED, and Antenatal Clinics. Workers are currently on site assessing the damage and identifying urgent repairs required to restore services. View the latest update.
