Launceston General Hospital (LGH)
Proposed Staff Parking Increase Withdrawn
The ANMF wrote to State Health Minister Bridget Archer following notification that staff parking fees at the LGH were proposed to increase from $3 to $5 per day – representing an additional $40 per month, or approximately $520 per year for a full-time employee, equivalent to a 67% increase. On Tuesday 20 January 2026, the ANMF attended a report back meeting at the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) in relation to the 5D workload grievance. Read the full update.
