Launceston General Hospital (LGH)

Emergency Department (ED) and Acute Medical Unit (AMU)

The ANMF was recently made aware that plans had been circulated on the intranet outlining proposed changes associated with the ED expansion at the LGH as part of the LGH Master Plan. These plans include the proposed relocation of the Alasdair MacDonald AMU and an associated reduction in beds to accommodate the expanded ED footprint. View the latest update
