Lifeblood Australia
The ANMF were in attendance at the scheduled bargaining meeting on Tuesday 4 August 2026. Lifeblood has agreed the replacement agreement will be a 3-year agreement. Lifeblood further proposed that “pay for performance” remains an intended bargaining proposal and that Thrive will be used as the mechanism for assessing performance outcomes.
The ANMF firmly stated that members do not agree with this proposal. Questions were raised from the ANMF to Lifeblood regarding this pay-for-performance proposal that will see members on approved extended leave subjected to lower wages due to the simple fact that that they were not in the workplace to meet certain KPI targets. This does not support the same job same pay and effectively means a person who provides the predominate amount of care to children, for instance, will effectively earn less than someone who does not. The ANMF will continue to push for a fairer wage system for all.
Updates are correct as of 13 August 2026.
