ANMF held a member meeting on Wednesday 10 October. Members report an improvement in conditions at the facility. Two Executives from the Menarock Quality team have provided support to staff and reviewed all clinical systems.

The facility also had an unannounced spot check from the Australian Aged Care Quality team which uncovered many issues of concern. Members report that these issues are being addressed.

A new clinical care coordinator has commenced, and the Director of Nursing (DON) position has been advertised. All members are congratulated again for their efforts in addressing the issues that were in place. ANMF will continue to monitor and offer support.
