ANMF has attended regular Community Health Nursing and Home Care Services Integration Joint Consultative Committee and member meetings.

ANMF provided feedback on members’ behalf that, measures to address whole of service/team issues had been helpful.

Members noted that the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) had not adequately considered the impact on individual’s quality of life. As a result, ANMF requested that, consideration be given to delaying the integration and to payment of increased expenses arising from the integration.

In response the THS has offered to delay the transition subject to several conditions. The offer has been circulated to members for their consideration and they will meet on Tuesday 16 October and Thursday 18 October to discuss their response.
