The ANMF met with Angiography members to discuss ongoing workloads, Work Health and Safety concerns and on-call roster issues. Members directed the ANMF to refer their grievance to the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC). The ANMF wrote to the Chief Operating Officer on 15 May requesting the business case for the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Angiography suite be considered a matter of urgency seeking a response by Tuesday 28 May 2019. Correspondence was received advising that the Executive have asked for a profile of private patients using the service informing ANMF that a decision around the business case will be finalised shortly.
