The ANMF attended a walk-through of facilities at the Risdon Prison on Tuesday 2 July 2019, in the company of senior Correctional Primary Health Services (CPHS) and Tasmanian Prison Services (TPS) management. This meeting was scheduled to identify solutions to several issues concerning medication distribution practices during lock downs. It was a productive collaboration, with several in-principle solutions agreed to amongst those present. Pending further approvals, ANMF will aim to conduct a member meeting on-site to relay these outcomes directly.
