Negotiations will soon begin for a replacement enterprise agreement at The Eye Hospital, although the first bargaining meeting has not yet been scheduled.  The ANMF has been consulting with members over the past few months to develop a log of claims for the replacement agreement, with an initial member survey, a second survey and an endorsement meeting.

After the ANMF provided the endorsed log of claims to the employer, a number of ANMF members asked for a further opportunity to provide feedback on the log of claims.  There will be an ANMF members meeting to discuss the log of claims at The Eye Hospital on 23 July 2019.  If the log of claims is varied, the ANMF will submit the revised log of claims to management.

During the bargaining process, ANMF Organiser Shane Rickerby will regularly liaise with key member contacts at The Eye Hospital and will continue to update members via eNews and social media.  Face to face meetings will be held to seek member feedback on the employer offers and any obstacles in the bargaining process.
