EDUCATION
Education, professional development + more
Did you know that we run an education facility? The Health Education and Research Centre (HERC) is located next to the ANMF office in Hobart. Together we provide nurses, midwives and care workers with access to quality education and continued professional development (CPD).
CPD & Education
ANMF members have access to high quality, face-to-face learning opportunities across Tasmania, along with regular conferences and professional development opportunities throughout the year. ANMF members also have access to free online CPD, with nearly 200 modules meeting the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia criteria all easily accessed via their ANMF Member Portal. These are a great way for members and non-members to advance and maintain their knowledge, skills, and attitudes for the provision of safe and competent care, whilst also contributing to their NMBA required hours.
Right now all members receive discounted rates on ANMF Tasmanian Branch run conferences and CPD sessions thanks to the support of Nurses Club Ltd. and our Health Education Research Centre (HERC).
