Advancing Your Role is an intermediate training session best suited to those Reps who have attended the Back to Basics training in the past, or have been active in their workplace for several years and are confident with resolving low level issues in the workplace, and/or have a solid understanding of unionism and their role within this. Throughout the day, we will build upon your knowledge of the role and provide you with the tools and confidence required to build resilience in the workplace, problem solve industrial issues, and navigate applicable award and enterprise agreement documents.

By the end of the day, you will not only have gained 6 CPD hours, you will also:

• Have a solid understanding of the industrial framework and your ability to influence change in the workplace.
• Have the skills and confidence to problem solve industrial matters.
• Have the knowledge required to navigate award and agreement documents.
• Have built on new and existing networks with ANMF staff and fellow Reps in your area.
• Be eligible to attend the advanced Black Belt Rep Training in the future.

Please note: There is no parking available onsite at any of the above locations, you will need to factor this into your schedule for the day. A morning snack and small lunch will be available throughout the day.
