Newsflash: LGH Acute Medical Unit
The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Tasmanian Branch (ANMF) have been contacted by the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) to advise that AMU have now ceased lockdown and that the requirement to work the altered shift times is no longer necessary.
Management have advised the ANMF that as of Sunday 31 May 2020, shift times will be reverting to the status quo prior to the lockdown change of shift time.
The ANMF encourage members to raise any concerns regarding the above with your Nurse Unit Manager in the first instance. ANMF Organiser Kylie Stubbs will be attending your workplace on Friday 29 May 2020 at 1430 hrs to discuss any outstanding concerns.
The ANMF acknowledges the difficult and challenging times you are currently working in and will continue to advocate on your behalf. We thank you for your service to the community and encourage you to stay safe and take care of each other.
