North West Child Health and Parenting Services (ChaPS)
The ANMF, on behalf of members at North West Child Health and Parenting Service, is pursuing outcomes to the workload concerns via a Step 2 Grievance Specialist Panel. Next meeting is planned for Monday 24 October 2022, for a progress update. Please click here to read the update.
North West Cancer Centre (NWCC)
Benchmarking Grievance Step 2
Potential solutions to the Nursing Hours per Patient Day (NHpPD) Workload Grievance at NWCC were discussed at the Step 2 Specialist Panel meeting. The 2021/2022 Benchmarking data will have an impact on staffing; therefore, it was agreed that the ANMF would attend a Benchmarking meeting on Friday 14 October 2022 prior to meeting with members to seek their direction. Rosebery Community Health Centre (RCHC)
ANMF continue to pursue Salary Maintenance
Since December 2021, the ANMF has pursued salary maintenance on behalf of members as the ongoing reduction of service delivery at Rosebery Community Health Centre (RCHC) has had a financial impact on members. We will be in contact with members as soon as the deed is available.
Statewide Mental Health Service (SMHS)
Spencer Clinic
The ANMF met with members at Spencer Clinic to remind them to take a break on World Mental Health Day. The ANMF, on behalf of members, continues to monitor the Safe Staffing Matrix as agreed in the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) via fortnightly meetings. Analysis of the data for the fortnight to Tuesday 11 October 2022 shows that on all but 1 shift, minimum safe staffing was met. Read the full update here.
Midwifery Group Practice (MGP)
ANMF Organiser Annette Beechey will be onsite at the new maternity services clinic on Wednesday 19 October 2022 to seek member’s feedback and directions for current Log of Claims (LoC).
King Island
ANMF members from King Island recently participated in a workload survey. A follow up meeting via Zoom will be organised to seek member’s direction. Keep your eye out in your inbox for the link to join the meeting and have your say.
