Private Sector Updates – North West

Healthe Care – North West Private Hospital (NWPH) – Ballot Results

The ANMF has been advised by the Healthe Care bargaining representative that the proposed Enterprise Agreement has not received majority support from staff. In the recent ballot, 78.5% of the votes cast were “no” votes, with 44 votes returned in total.

This strong outcome highlights that the Healthe Care offer requires significant improvements to meet members’ expectations for a fair and reasonable agreement.

Healthe Care has indicated they will consult with staff and reach out to the ANMF for further discussions. In the meantime, the ANMF is evaluating the process for initiating further industrial action to support members and press for a better offer from Healthe Care. We are committed to standing with members through this process and will provide further updates shortly.

Stop Work Action

ANMF NWPH members have planned a week of industrial action culminating in a one hour stop work meeting on Thursday 14 November 2024 at 1200hrs – 1300hrs – meeting at the front entrance.

The ANMF has formally notified Healthe Care management of an escalation in industrial action, ANMF officials will be onsite to support members for the planned stop work meeting.

Updates are correct as of 13 November 2024.
