Healthscope Hobart Private Hospital
The ANMF is dismayed by the financial collapse of Healthscope nationally and the associated impacts on our members in Tasmania and across Australia, and also what it means for private patient care. View the latest update.
The ANMF Supporting Members Through Hobart Clinic Closure:
We are standing alongside members at The Hobart Clinic following the announcement that the facility will close by Friday 31 October, 2025. This closure is understandably distressing for staff, patients, and the wider Tasmanian community, particularly with access to inpatient mental health services already under pressure.
We will be on-site providing professional support, advice, and assistance to impacted members in the coming days. Members not on-site this week can also contact the ANMF Member Support Team on 6223 6777.
The ANMF is working closely with the Tasmanian Health Service to ensure nurses are offered ongoing employment opportunities, and we will keep members updated via email (Hobart Clinic Members, please ensure your contact details are correct to ensure you receive timely information and updates relating to your employment).
