ANMF Media Release: Meeting with Minister for Health Regarding Access and Flow

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Tasmanian Branch will today meet with Minister for Health Bridget Archer to discuss the ongoing challenges relating to access and flow at the Launceston General Hospital and more broadly across the entire health system.

ANMF Branch Secretary Emily Shepherd said the ANMF will have a number of representatives from across the Launceston General Hospital as well as those from community-based services outlining the current challenges.

“We will also be sharing with the Minister a range of potential solutions to address access and flow concerns,” Ms Shepherd said.

The ANMF will provide an overview following the roundtable with Minister Archer on the key discussion points and potential solutions.
