Presenter – Belinda Free

“I am a Nurse Practitioner specialising in Wound Management after completing my masters of Nursing in 2018.

I’m currently working part-time at the RHH in Wound Management and Hospital in the Home which allows me time to pursue my private wound education and consulting practice Wound Care 2U.

Privately I deliver on site education and holistic patient assessments to residential aged care staff and residents and I have a private consulting space for community clients too.

As a Nurse Practitioner I am able to conduct conservative sharp wound debridement, order and interpret diagnostic investigations and prescribe medications relating to wound and skin infections.

My passion is to expedite healing times, reduce the burden faced by those living with chronic wounds and achieve hospital avoidance.”
