Calvary Health Care: No Care is NOT FAIR!

Calvary Health Care’s dedicated Nurses and Midwives need an agreed workload model, aligned with national standards, to guarantee minimum safe staffing levels.

This will enable Nurses and Midwives to safely care for their patients and assist with the burnout experienced by an overworked workforce. They desperately
need and deserve better conditions to ensure their safe and effective performance on the job.

Calvary must action the calls from Nurses and Midwives for:

  • A workload model which ensures mandated minimum staffing.
  • A wage rise that will enable recruitment and retention.
  • A grievance procedure where members can raise concerns about staffing and actually
    be heard.

Calvary Health Care Tasmania, it’s time to listen and show you care!

Thursday 14 December 2023 Update – Calvary’s lead negotiator has informed the ANMF that the proposed Calvary Health Care Tasmania Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2022 has been voted up by a majority of Calvary employees. Calvary will now begin the process to lodge the new Agreement with the Fair Work Commission (FWC). Although the ANMF did not endorse the Agreement before it went out to ballot, the ANMF recognises that there were a majority of nurses who were in favour of the agreement.
