PROFESSIONAL EXTRAS
Our focus is our members – we want you to get the most out of your membership and all the extras that come with it including professionally. The ANMF is the only union that specialises in providing the nursing team with full professional advice, industrial support, and representation, as well as Professional Indemnity Insurance, legal referral and more.
Member Support Team
The ANMF Member Support Team are nurses, just like you. They recognise that many of the issues that you face as nurses, midwives, and care workers are not ‘normal’ situations. They understand this and provide appropriate support and advice.
Industrial Support
Our collective strength enables us to negotiate for, and with our members, to promote, improve, and protect working conditions. Our team will assist with workplace issues and representations including Enterprise Agreement negotiations.
Indemnity Insurance
Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) is part of your membership and is mandatory for practicing nurses and midwives in Australia. Whilst it is not for care workers, we do recommend it for anyone who provides direct care to others.
