May Shaw Scottsdale

General Staff Agreement

The Fair Work Commission has requested that May Shaw provide undertakings in respect of the new agreement. This is to ensure the agreement meets the Better of Overall Test (BOOT) in relation to the Award. The undertaking will apply to the following: Clause 21(a) Span of hours, Clause 38 (c) Afternoon Shift loadings and Clause 11 (c) Recall. The ANMF will provide further details once May Shaw have submitted their undertaking to fix these clauses.

Nursing Agreement

The ANMF have now received a copy of the proposed Enterprise Agreement.  The ANMF has reviewed the draft agreement and confirm that it appears to include the agreed changes.  We have requested the employer provide the ANMF with a current wages schedule to ensure the agreement reflects the agreed pay rates and allowances. Southern Cross Care

The bargaining meeting scheduled for  6 April was cancelled by the employer.  The ANMF is awaiting a written response from the employer.  The ANMF will provide members with further information as it becomes available to the ANMF.

Members have also raised concerns regarding the Southern Cross Care response to the COVID 19 pandemic, staff, client and community safety. A formal response has been received, and ANMF will schedule a meeting to seek further direction from our members moving forward. Toosey

The Fair Work Commission has now allocated the agreement approval process to a Commissioner. Toosey has been required to make undertakings regarding the agreement. The ANMF will supply further details of these undertakings when available.

May Shaw Swansea General Staff

The ANMF are still waiting on the employer to provide a draft copy of the proposed Enterprise Agreement and will provide feedback to members once this has been received.

Respect

A meeting was held via teleconference on 6 April 2020, where the ANMF presented the log of claims and are now awaiting feedback from the employer.

Masonic Care Tasmania

The ANMF is waiting on the employer to provide draft agreements and have been advised that the drafts are delayed until 30 April 2020.

Medea Park

The ANMF have corresponded with Medea Park Management regarding the draft agreement presented to the ANMF for review. Please click here to read latest Newsflash. The ANMF is waiting on a response from Medea Park in relation to the issues raised.

Aged Care Deloraine

The ANMF is waiting on the employer to settle their undertakings.

Bupa

The ANMF have contacted management and are now awaiting feedback re commencing negotiations.

Tandara General Staff Agreement

The employer has requested delaying the commencement of bargaining until mid-May due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. The ANMF will provide further updates to members once the first bargaining meeting has occurred.

Meercroft Home for the Aged

The ANMF is drafting a log of claims from member feedback received from the survey.

Corumbene Nursing Home

The negotiation meeting scheduled for 31 March 2020 was delayed by Corumbene due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. The ANMF are awaiting a response from Corumbene with a new negotiation meeting date to be held via teleconference.

Glenview Nurses

The ANMF is waiting on the draft agreement from the employer and will consult with members once received

Menarock (the Gardens)

A bargaining meeting is scheduled for 21 April 2020 via teleconference due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Salvation Army Barrington Lodge

The ANMF have received a final offer from Salvation Army management and will be consulting with members for feedback. Please click here to read the latest EA update for more information.
