Statewide Mental Health Services (SMHS) Spencer Clinic

Step 1 Grievance

The ANMF met with members on 26 August 2021 to provide feedback and seek further direction. Members unanimously endorsed the ANMF to move to a Step 2 Grievance. Formal notification is in process and members will be forwarded a link to the electronic survey. Keep an eye on your emails for updates.

Operating Theatres

The ANMF has received a copy of the benchmarking data and proposed staffing model. A member meeting will be held on Friday 10 September 2021 at 1300 hours. An invitation will be sent via email this week.

Medical Unit

Step 2 Grievance

The ANMF on behalf of members will attend a meeting to review the benchmarking data on 27 September 2021. A member meeting will be convened to seek members endorsement, keep an eye on your email inbox for the date.

North West Maternity Services

The ANMF met with members from North West Maternity Services on 9 August 2021 regarding a change proposal. The ANMF has provided members feedback to Tasmanian Health Service (THS) management. Members will be kept informed of progress via emails and meetings.

Mersey Community Hospital (MCH) JCC Theatre Redevelopment

The ANMF represented members at the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) meetings, initial discussions regarding baseline and proposed staffing were discussed at the meeting held on 9 August. The ANMF will review the data to ensure that it meets Australian College of Perioperative Nurses (ACORN) standards and provide a response at the next meeting on 13 September 2021.
