Medical Ward Assistants in Nursing (AIN) Trial

The ANMF has received the AIN trial evaluation document and is in process of seeking clarity to some points following which a member meeting will be convened to seek further direction. Watch for the invite in your inbox.

A Note from Community Engagement Officer Nicki Hood

Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS)

The ANMF, on behalf of members at North West Child Health and Parenting Service at a meeting on Wednesday 24 August 2022, reviewed the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) response to the Step 1 Workload Grievance. Members unanimously endorsed the ANMF to escalate to Step 2 as the workloads remain. Formal notification to the THS is in process.

North West Cancer Centre (NWCC)

Nursing Hours per Patient Day (NHpPD) Grievance Step 2

ANMF officials met with members at the NWCC to discuss the response provided at the Step 2 Specialist Panel meeting. Members articulated that the workloads remain and endorsed the ANMF to request that the Specialist Panel is reconvened. Formal notification to the THS is in process.
