The ANMF is currently reviewing the status of the actions to come out of the 2022 Tasmanian Industrial Commissions (TIC) hearing. Understanding that the business case for a new Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) position, in lieu of the Nurse Navigator role, is yet to be submitted, the ANMF will seek a meeting with members shortly to discuss a plan to have the matter relisted for report back before the TIC. Further updates to follow.

On Tuesday 20 December 2022, the ANMF met with members at the John L Grove Rehabilitation Unit (JLGRU). Members have detailed multiple concerns relating to workloads, staffing, recruitment, and retention. Click here to view the full update.

Included in this correspondence was a request for the working group, established to develop a nursing workload tool, to recommence by the end of January 2023. The THS have agreed to this request. The ANMF will provide further updates to members once the first meeting date has been confirmed.
