Public Sector Enterprise Agreement (EA) – Offer and Ballot
The ANMF has been in receipt of an offer from the State Government in relation to the ongoing EA negotiations. This offer has been endorsed by Branch Council Executive and is to be put out to affected members for the sake of a vote as to whether to accept (or not). Members will be provided a detailed overview of the offer via regular communication channels and ANMF Organisers will be conducting extensive walkarounds of public sector sites – members are encouraged to engage with ANMF officials to discuss the offer and any associated questions.

Calvary Health Care Tasmania
The ANMF attended an EA meeting on Tuesday 3 October 2023. Calvary has committed to sending their proposed workload model to the ANMF for review by the end of this week. The ANMF will send further communications to members when this occurs.

Regis Aged Care
The ANMF continues to negotiate on members behalf for a new EA. At an EA negotiation meeting on Tuesday 19 September 2023, Regis Aged Care briefly outlined their negotiation intentions and agreed to put in writing the wage offer for the ANMF to take to members. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday 19 October 2023, and the ANMF is hopeful Regis Aged Care will table details of their offer so members can provide feedback. The ANMF will send a newsflash communication to all members outlining the offer from Regis. If you would like to discuss this, please contact Northern Organiser, Nicki Hood via email at: Nicki.Hood@anmftas.org.au. You can also view the latest EA Update.

Australian Red Cross Blood Service (Lifeblood)
After a nationwide mass member meeting on Sunday 10 September 2023, during which ANMF members unanimously expressed their support for ongoing EA negotiations, progress has been achieved regarding certain items listed in the Log of Claims (LoC). As Lifeblood/Red Cross is currently negotiating a national Agreement this has led to protracted bargaining as each state/territory has different agreements to work through. The ANMF Tasmanian branch continues to push for our members entitlements whilst rejecting claims that directly erode the very entitlements you seek to hold onto. Members are encouraged to respond to any correspondence sent as the ANMF Federal branch is seeking your feedback in various ways i.e., surveys, mass member meetings, onsite member meetings etc. If you have any concerns or feedback you wish to raise with the negotiation team please contact Northern Organiser, Nicki Hood via email at Nicki.Hood@anmftas.org.au.
