North West

2024 Aged Care Excellence Awards and Aged Care Conference Promotion in North West Coast worksites

ANMF Member Engagement Officer, Kathy has been visiting aged care sites across the North West coast, distributing flyers promoting the Aged Care Excellence Awards for 2024. These awards provide an opportunity to recognise the exceptional care provided by care workers, enrolled nurses and registered nurses. Nominations close midday Friday 19 April 2024. Nominate someone deserving today!

Flyers have also been distributed at worksites to promote the 2024 Tasmanian Aged Care Conference held in Hobart on Wednesday 15 May. Early Bird registrations are now open, and those who register early have a chance to win a health and wellbeing hamper valued at $200.

Respect Aged Care Coroneagh Park

The ANMF previously raised workload concerns with Respect management on behalf of members at Coronegah Park. The ANMF has received a response from Respect management and are pleased to announce that member concerns have now been addressed. View the latest newsflash.

On behalf of members from OneCare Rubicon Grove, the ANMF has formally notified the employer of workload concerns, raised by members. View the latest newsflash.

Respect Wellington Views

The ANMF held a member meeting on Wednesday 3 January 2024, regarding the workloads in the Dementia Unit. The ANMF is conducting a workload survey for members.

Regis Eastern Shore

The ANMF held a member meeting on Tuesday 9 January 2024 to discuss the next steps following the NO vote to the Agreement ballot distributed out to staff in December 2023. The ANMF has requested that Regis recommence bargaining immediately and has spoken to members about the possibility of taking protected Industrial Action via a Protected Action Ballot.
