EA Updates
We are frequently updating information regarding enterprise agreements from private and aged care sites across Tasmania so our members can stay informed.
Anglicare
After members voted to endorse the ANMF bargaining claim, your ANMF bargaining team spoke briefly to each item at the first bargaining meeting with Anglicare last week. Other unions also put forward claims. One of our claims is for the agreement to set out more clearly the classification descriptions and pay points for nurse classifications, including adequate opportunities for advancement. We will be consulting members to develop proposals in this regard. Keep an eye out for future email updates and talk to your ANMF Workplace Representative for more information.
TasIVF/Hobart Specialist Day Hospital (HSDH)
In recent weeks your workplace reps have coordinated industrial action in the form of distributing flyers to patients with compelling stories as to why TasIVF nurses deserve a real pay rise. View the latest update.
The Hobart Clinic Nurses
The ANMF wishes to advise members that the Hobart Clinic Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2023 has been approved by the Fair Work Commission. The agreement will operate from 15 August 2024 and the nominal expiry date is 30 September 2026. Any wage increases and new entitlements will be effective from the dates as stated in the agreement. View the agreement.
Queen Victoria Care Nursing Log of Claims Survey
The Queen Victoria Home Nursing Enterprise Agreement 2021 has a nominal expiry date of 1 July 2024. This means that a new Enterprise Agreement must be negotiated. The ANMF needs to formalise a Log of Claims (LoC) to support bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement. Negotiating a new Agreement provides ANMF members with an opportunity to improve wages and conditions of employment. Have your say!
Queen Victoria Care General Staff Log of Claims Survey
The Queen Victoria Home Inc. General Enterprise Agreement 2021 has a nominal expiry date of 30 June 2024. This means that a new Enterprise Agreement must be negotiated. The ANMF needs to formalise a LoCs to support bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement. Negotiating a new Agreement provides ANMF members with an opportunity to improve wages and conditions of employment. Have your say!
Aged Care Deloraine
We have received an offer from Aged Care Deloraine in the bargaining process. View the latest update.
Medea Park
The first bargaining meeting occurred on Tuesday 20 August 2024. The ANMF presented your Log of Claims (LoC), and the reasons why these claims are important to members employed at Medea Park. Lead negotiators on behalf of your employer will take these claims to the Medea Park Board for discussion, the ANMF looks forward to hearing their response when we next meet on the Thursday 19 September 2024. If you are interested in attending these negotiation meetings, please send an email to ANMF Northern Organiser Nicki Hood at Nicki.Hood@anmftas.org.au so an invitation can be forwarded.
Calvary Home Care
The ANMF were very disappointed Calvary refused to discuss expected wages and allowances, essentially stalling negotiations as many decisions on new or revised clauses are weighted against any wage offer. Instead, Calvary has tabled a draft agreement without these wage offers. The ANMF has scheduled a member meeting hear your feedback on the offer to date. If you have any concerns you would like to raise and you are unable to attend the member meeting, please forward your concerns to ANMF Northern Organiser Nicki Hood via email at Nicki.Hood@anmftas.org.au.
Updates are correct as of 21 August 2024.
