Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH)

Maternity Services

The ANMF wrote to the Acting Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services at the RHH, the Chief Executive of Hospitals South and the Department on Tuesday 27 August 2024 to raise an urgent RHH Midwifery Staffing Grievance.

This action was taken in response to a series of critical staffing concerns reported by our members, which are affecting the quality and safety of care provided to mothers and their babies in the RHH. View the latest update.

Department of Critical Care Medicine (DCCM)

Our campaign for better compensation for nurses working 12-hour shifts that include 30 minutes of additional time continues to gain momentum. The ANMF snap poll results show 83% of respondents support seeking overtime for the additional 30 minutes. View the latest update.
