Peacock 2 (P2) Acute Rehab – Repatriation Centre

The ANMF met with members on Monday 30 September 2024 to discuss concerns around workloads. These discussions were a result of management being called to the ward to address these concerns last Thursday 26 September 2024. View the latest update.

Wilfred Lopes Centre (WLC) Proposed Roster Change Trial

The ANMF met with members recently regarding the proposed roster changes at WLC.

Southern Continuing Care Team Step 2 Workload

The ANMF attended a Step 2 Grievance Panel meeting with management on Thursday 10 October 2024 to discuss the Step 2 Grievance raised by the ANMF on behalf of members. At this meeting, the grievances were outlined by the ANMF regarding the duty officer role and the Extended Hours Team. Due to the meeting only being of 1 hour duration, a full discussion was not able to be had, and a further meeting date has been scheduled for Tuesday 5 November 2024 with a time frame of 2 hours duration.

The ANMF requested that the Evaluation of the Extended Hours trial be added onto the agenda for discussion at the next meeting. The ANMF has received concerns from members regarding the validity of the data presented in the Evaluation. The discussions will include the feedback ANMF has received from members. The ANMF also requested that a member attend the next meeting to expediate the resolution to the grievances and this has been agreed to.
