Launceston General Hospital (LGH) – Workplace Representative Meetings
As part of our Safe Hospitals Save Lives campaign, we’re calling on you to help us raise an Award grievance. This grievance aims to push for urgent solutions for members before the holiday season and hold the THS accountable for its ongoing neglect of nurses, midwives, and the communities they care for.
We’ll also work with you to reinvigorate industrial action on each ward and unit through December 2024 and January 2025. To support this, our LGH ANMF Organiser Shane Rickerby arranged three Zoom meetings to discuss how you can assist in lodging the grievance. Once gathered, we plan to bring these grievances collectively to the Tasmanian Industrial Commission around Friday 22 November 2024.
A face-to-face meeting is also being planned for the week of 18 November 2024 at Du Cane Brewing (date and time to be confirmed). If you have any questions or were unable to attend the recently scheduled meetings, please reach out to Shane via email at Shane.Rickerby@anmftas.org.au.
