Surgical Ward

The ANMF formally raised a Workload Grievance on behalf of members at the NWRH Surgical Ward. At a member meeting on Monday 14 July 2025, members noted that despite the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) acknowledging the concerns and meeting to provide detail and work collaboratively to seek solutions, the actions to date have not addressed the workload concerns. In line with members endorsement the ANMF have notified THS management that the grievance is now escalated to Step 2 and a specialist panel is to be convened.
