The ANMF attended the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) on Tuesday 14 October 2025, on behalf of members from the Cancer Clinical Trials Unit (CCTU) to address ongoing workload pressures and the department’s proposed changes impacting members at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH). Department of Medical Imaging

The ANMF is seeking feedback from members following receipt of the updated Department of Medical Imaging (DMI) Recommended Staffing Pattern provided by management on Wednesday 15 October 2025. This updated proposal has been developed in line with the current hours of service and reflects management’s revised modelling for both direct and indirect nursing hours. View the latest update. 

Ward K9 West

Following the successful conclusion of the TIC matter regarding the delays to implement the Assistants in Nursing (AINs) endorsed from benchmarking more than 12 months ago, the ANMF is pleased to confirm that Assistants in Nursing (AINs) commenced working on K9West and have been in place for approximately one month.View the latest update.
