The District Nurses

The ANMF wishes to advise members that the Hobart District Nursing Service Inc. Nurses Agreement 2025 has been approved by the Fair Work Commission (FWC). The agreement will operate from 2 December 2025, and the nominal expiry date is 30 September 2028.  

In this campaign ANMF members stood together and achieved great outcomes. 

Wins achieved after the ANMF applied for a Protected Action Ballot (PAB) include District Nurses management agreeing to:  

• Start paying the new rates without waiting for FWC approval, and, 

• Apply the October 2025 work value wage increases to the new classification structure. 

We understand that District Nurses management has honoured its commitment to the above. 

We understand District Nurses payroll will soon process the agreed amount of backpay. New entitlements will be effective from the dates as stated in the agreement. View the new agreement. 

May Shaw

After ensuring Enrolled Nurses (ENs) were included in the October 2025 work value wage increases, your ANMF Bargaining Team is continuing to engage with May Shaw management to finalise the Enterprise Agreement (EA).   

We are at the stage of reviewing the finer details to ensure that all of your rights and entitlements are legally enforceable. This has included, for example, making sure that the clauses dealing with allowances provide for allowances to be increased in line with the general wage increases.  

We expect that the proposed agreement will be ready to proceed to an all staff vote in coming weeks. 

Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT)

Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT) management is moving slowly in Enterprise Agreement (EA) bargaining, despite having recently missed the deadline of Monday 1 December 2025 for your next bargained wage increase. View the latest update. 

Anglicare

It has now been some weeks since Anglicare sent the agreement to Fair Work for approval, and the commissioner has requested further information and/or undertakings before approving the agreement. The ANMF will inform our members when we hear from the Fair Work Commissioner. 

North

Toosey Aged Care

Bargaining continues for the replacement agreement, when parties met on Thursday 27 November 2025. Toosey pointed out they were still working on a wage offer and declared they would have this sent to parties before the next scheduled meeting which is this Thursday 11 December 2025. Once we have this information we will inform our members by newsflash.   

Aged Care Deloraine

The ANMF is waiting to hear from the Fair Work Commissioner that the replacement agreement is approved, once we have been notified, we will inform our members.  

South 

Queen Victoria Care 

Queen Victoria Care (QVC) management is proceeding to all staff ballots on the proposed new Enterprise Agreements (EA). View the latest update. 

Corumbene

Through Enterprise Agreement (EA) bargaining we can make Corumbene the best possible place to work.  

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Tasmanian Branch (ANMF) will soon be bargaining for new EAs to replace the: 

• Corumbene Nurses Agreement; and 

• Corumbene General Agreement.

Glenview

The ANMF has been informed by members that Glenview management is in the process of consulting affected staff on options to manage the temporary closure of Merton Wing. The ANMF would have expected Glenview management to notify the ANMF sooner and engage with us in genuine consultation. We understand Merton Wing to be part of Windsor Residential Care and that management expects Merton Wing to be closed until April or May next year. The ANMF will be looking to minimise the impacts on staff in terms of availability of shifts and ensure a fair process.
