Private Sector Updates – Statewide

Calvary Health Care Tasmania Hospitals
The ANMF wrote to Calvary Health Care Tasmania (CHCT) on behalf of its members with a wage counteroffer with the expectation we would have discussed this counteroffer further at the Wednesday 21 January 2026 Enterprise Agreement (EA) meeting. Unfortunately, CHCT cancelled this meeting. To date no explanation has been received nor has a responses been received following the wage counteroffer. The ANMF has requested a bargaining meeting be rescheduled promptly. View the latest update

Family Planning Tasmania
The ANMF wishes to advise members that the Family Planning Tasmania Enterprise Agreement 2025 has been approved by the Fair Work Commission.

The agreement will operate from 2 March 2026, and the nominal expiry date is 30 June 2028. Any wage increases and new entitlements will be effective from the dates as stated in the agreement.  View the new agreement

Lifeblood Australia
The ANMF is working closely with other ANMF branches in preparation for the Lifeblood Australia negotiations; recent communications from Lifeblood to its staff suggests the wage offer will be linked to Lifeblood’s internal performance review program, “Thrive”. The ANMF is considering this proposal and encourages all its members to be wary of signing any documents relating to wages/ and or targets unless you seek independent advice first. If you are unsure of what implications a document may mean for you please call ANMF Member Support Team on 1800 001 241.

Updates correct as at 26 February 2026.
