Public Sector Updates – Statewide

Integrated Operations Centre

The ANMF has met with members and consulted with impacted employees regarding the proposed Tasmanian Health Service (THS) Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) changes.  

Members across the state raised significant concerns regarding the proposal, particularly around workload, governance, staffing, patient safety, and the impact on existing local IOC operations.  

Following this consultation, the ANMF has formally written to the THS seeking further detail, clarification, mitigations and concessions before any change progresses. View the latest update 

Statewide Palliative Care

The ANMF has been briefed by members working in Palliative Care regarding the cessation of funding for the Comprehensive Palliative Care in Aged Care (CPCiAC) program. View the latest update 

Public Sector Bargaining Agreement Update

The ANMF has been advised by the lead negotiator for the Nursing and Midwifery Public Sector Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiations that the Department of Health (DoH) bargaining team have not yet received their bargaining parameters. View the latest update 

Major Health Department Restructure Proposed

The ANMF is in receipt of the Department of Health (DoH) Change Proposal that details a significant organisational restructure that will impact how services are managed and delivered across Tasmania. View the latest update
