Day Surgery Endoscopy
Following consultation with Endoscopy Unit members, including a petition supported by 35 members, the ANMF has written to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) advising that members have resolved to commence taking reasonable paid comfort breaks from Thursday 1 October 2026, pending implementation of the new Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement (EA). Whittle Ward
ANMF members at Whittle Ward met on Wednesday 26 August 2026 to discuss ongoing staffing, workload and benchmarking concerns. Members reported that despite being advised the ward is at Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), roster gaps continue to occur, with most shifts relying on casual staff, overtime and short-notice changes.
