Statewide

Celebrate Health Care Ltd (Formally May Shaw)

Voting for the proposed Celebrate Health Care Ltd (formerly May Shaw Health Centre Inc) Enterprise Agreement (EA) 2026 closed at 1201hrs on Monday 26 January 2026.

Celebrate Health management has advised us that the vote did not achieve the necessary majority approval, with the majority of employees voting against the proposed agreement.

This is a testament to your collective strength and by voting NO, you have sent a clear, undeniable message to the Executive: We know our worth, and we won’t settle for less! View the latest update

Regis Aged Care

After a very lengthy gap in negotiations Regis Aged Care finally responded to the ANMFs request to reconvene the bargaining, with all parties scheduled to meet Thursday 22 January 2026. Unfortunately, Regis cancelled the scheduled meeting with no notice. To date the ANMF has not received any indication of when Regis Aged Care is likely to reschedule this meeting, meaning, once again, Regis is delaying negotiations on the replacement agreement.

Aged Care Enterprise Agreements

The following EA are waiting for approval from the Fair Work Commissioner Anglicare, Family Planning Tasmania, Aged Care Deloraine, and Eskleigh Foundation.

The Fair Work Commissioner has listed a hearing for Anglicare, scheduled to occur Friday 20 February 2026.

The Fair Work Commissioner is also requesting further information and undertakings for the Eskleigh Foundation agreement, once ANMF receives notice these have been approved, we will inform our members, and the new agreements will be available on our webpage for ease of reference.

The following agreements will be next for our negotiation team; Calvary Aged Care, One Care, Tandara Lodge and Melaleuca Aged Care.

Are you interested in being part of the negotiation team? Do you know who your workplace delegate is? If you are keen to know more, please contact your ANMF Northern Organiser Nicki Hood to discuss. Email: Nicki.Hood@anmftas.org.au.

Toosey Aged Care

Toosey has provided a draft agreement to all parties so wording on some clauses can be worked through. The ANMF has been very clear that we do not accept the fact Toosey will not pass any wage increase to Nurses in the second year of the agreement, further, Toosey’s explanation that it is “leveling the playing field” between different cohorts of employees seems to be disadvantageous to employees who carry the burden of responsibility in Aged Care. The ANMF continues to seek clarity around these points.

Melaleuca Home for the Aged

ANMF Organiser Nicki Hood met with members recently to commence drafting a Log of Claims (LoC) survey. Members should receive a newsflash with a link to the survey. We strongly encourage our members to take the time to complete this survey in its entirety as this will help guide ANMF during negotiations on the clauses that matter the most to you.

Tandara Lodge

Your ANMF Organiser was recently at your worksite to discuss the matters that you want to see pursused in the upcoming bargaining for your replacement agreement. Keep an eye out for a LoC survey which will be emailed to all members shortly.
