Uniting AgeWell

The ANMF wishes to advise members that the Uniting AgeWell Enterprise Agreement (Tasmania) 2025 has been approved by the Fair Work Commission. The agreement will operate from 6 June 2025, and the nominal expiry date is 1 January 2028. The agreement includes 3% wage increases effective from the first full pay period on or after 1 March 2025. This has a backpay component. Uniting AgeWell management advises that staff will receive the increased wage rates in their payslip on 26 June 2025, and that backpay will be separately processed at around the same time, in the final week of June. The agreement will operate from 27 May 2025, and the nominal expiry date is 31 October 2026. You should expect your payslip for the first full pay period on or after 27 May 2025 to reflect the new wage rates.

  • The new agreement provides for considerable backpay that is now due, and we have asked Baptcare management as to when they expect to process the backpay.
  • We will also be working with Baptcare management to ensure all work value wage increases that have been funded by Government as a result of the Aged Care Work Value Care are fully passed on to nurses and care workers. View the agreement.
