Calvary Health Care Tasmania (CHCT)

St Luke’s

The ANMF was informed on Friday that Calvary Health Care Tasmania (CHCT) had discovered issues in one of their theatres at St Luke’s which has regrettably impacted on the services which can be offered. At the time of writing some services will be delivered at St Vincent’s until the issue is resolved. If members are impacted, please contact ANMF Northern Organiser Nicki Hood via email: Nicki.Hood@anmftas.org.au who will be available to offer advice to members. Alternatively, you can contact our Member Support Team via email: Membersupport@anmftas.org.au.

St Luke’s Melwood Palliative Care Unit

The ANMF wrote to CHCT’s general manger on behalf of members about the proposed changes occurring in the Melwood Palliative Care Unit in August 2025. Our letter requested a meeting with CHCT executive team to enable us to understand the proposed changes and how these changes may impact on our members and their working environment. Updates are correct as of 17 September 2025.
