Roster Improvement Program

The ANMF has written to the Nursing Director (ND) of Integrated Operations on behalf of Nurse Unit Managers (NUMs) at the North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) regarding serious concerns with the rushed implementation of the new Roster Improvement Program (Roster+). View the latest update. 

Emergency Department

The ANMF are pleased to announce that the 2024/2025 benchmark Full Time Equivalent (FTE) increase of 3.31 FTE has been approved for a six-month period. The minute was signed by the Secretary of Health on Friday 17 October 2025. View the latest update. 

Mersey Community Hospital (MCH)

Emergency Department

The ANMF attended the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) on Friday 17 October 2025 regarding the ongoing benchmarking dispute at the Mersey Community Hospital (MCH) Emergency Department (ED). View the latest update. 

Medical Day Procedures Unit

After not been benchmarking since 2022. The benchmarking for 2024-25 has finally been completed showing a required increase of 0.9 Full Time Equivalent (FTE), the ANMF met with members who have endorsed this increase. The ANMF has advised the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) if this is not progressed (signed off at executive level) within 10 business days it will be escalated to the TIC as a dispute.
