Emergency Department and Integrated Operations Centre

The ANMF is issuing this Newsflash to clarify recent communications regarding the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) IW shift and to address concerns raised by members working in both the IOC and the Emergency Department (ED). View the latest update. 

Department of Medical Imaging

The ANMF attended the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) today (Thursday 12 March 2026) alongside the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) to continue conciliation regarding the Department of Medical Imaging (DMI). View the latest update. 

Emergency Department (ED) and Emergency Medical Unit (EMU)

The THS has circulated a change proposal for the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) that introduces separate leadership and workforce structures for the Emergency Department (ED) and the Emergency Medical Unit (EMU). According to the proposal, the changes affect reporting lines and workforce allocation, without changes to role titles, classification, substantive Full Time Equivalent (FTE), remuneration, core duties/scope, or rostering rules. Statewide Mental Health Service Continuing Care Team South

The ANMF attended the TIC today (Thursday 12 March 2026) alongside the THS to continue conciliation regarding the Continuing Care Teams (CCT) – Statewide Mental Health Services Unit. View the latest update. 

Statewide Mental Health Service Multidisciplinary Allowance 

The ANMF is providing an important update for members working within Community Mental Health – Southern Mental Health Service (SMHS).  

During a recent conciliation at the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) on Friday 13 of February 2026, the President advised that any applications for the Multi-Disciplinary Allowance (MDA) must be submitted individually. View the latest update.
