Statewide Mental Health Services Continuing Care Teams

The ANMF appeared before the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) in relation to the Statewide Mental Health Services (SMHS) – Continuing Care Teams (CCT) on Tuesday 21 April 2026. View the latest update. 

Public Sector Emergency Departments

The ANMF has been advised of industrial action being taken by paramedics. As part of this action, paramedics have commenced transporting and transferring all patients who call 000 to hospital Emergency Departments (EDs). View the latest update. 

Public Sector EBA Update 4

The ANMF attended a bargaining meeting on Tuesday 5 May 2026, where discussions focused on wages and key member priorities. While there are many important issues members have told us need to be addressed during this bargaining round, wages remain the highest priority. Public Sector EBA Update 5

As mentioned above in the EBA Update 4, the ANMF attended bargaining on Tuesday 5 May 2026, ready to progress members’ claims on time and without delay. The ANMF’s approach in the meeting reflected the level of professionalism nurses and midwives expect in negotiations of this importance, and the seriousness with which we represent the profession on behalf of members.
