Public Sector Flexible Work Policy

The Department of Health has released a draft Flexible Work Policy for consultation.  

The policy seeks to provide a framework for flexible work arrangements, including changes to work patterns, reduced hours, shift swaps, roster requests and working remotely from home.  

The ANMF is currently reviewing the proposal and is seeking feedback from members before providing a formal response. View the latest update 

Statewide Palliative Care

As the ANMF members are aware, the Comprehensive Palliative Care in Aged Care (CPCiAC) cessation was taken urgently to the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) to address the Department of Health’s failure to consult with members regarding the proposed statewide cessation of the CPCiAC Program from Wednesday 1 July 2026.
