Comprehensive Palliative Care in Aged Care

The ANMF has been advocating for members working in the Comprehensive Palliative Care in Aged Care (CPCiAC) program which was a jointly funded State and Federal Government Program supporting palliative care needs of Tasmanians who choose to live in Aged Care Facilities. Despite the community and health advocacy for this program, the program ended on Wednesday 1 July 2026. View the latest update 

Transfer of Care

The ANMF appeared before the Tasmanian Industrial Commission (TIC) on Wednesday 8 July 2026 in relation to the Transfer of Care (ToC) Emergency Department (ED), Tasmanian Public Hospitals and were supported by the Australian Medical Association (AMA) as the Intervenor. View the latest update
