Southern Cross Care Tasmania – Initial Meetings Held

The ANMF writes to inform members of the commencement of meetings regarding the negotiations for the 2025 Enterprise Agreement (EA) for Southern Cross Care Tasmania (SCCT). This initial meeting was to set the schedule for future meetings and laid out expected behaviours for all parties. During this meeting SCCT also tabled a review of compliance items within the current EA for feedback from the ANMF and other industrial partners. View the latest update

May Shaw

At the enterprise bargaining meeting this week, May Shaw management tabled a wages offer. This is in the context where, as previously reported, May Shaw management has already paid a 3.5% wage increase in July 2025, outside of EA bargaining. View the latest update

Emmerton Park

The new Emmerton Park Incorporated Staff Agreement 2025 was formally approved by the Fair Work Commission (FWC) on Friday 26 September 2025. From Friday 3 October 2025, the agreement will be enforceable and remain in place until its nominal expiration date of 30 June 2028, or until a new agreement is negotiated and approved after that date.

EAs require engagement, effort and time from members. Thank you to all members who were actively involved in achieving the improvements at Emmerton Park. For any questions about your new EA, or any other matter or concerns that may affect you at your Workplace, please reach out to a member of your ANMF team. View the new agreement here

Glenview

Thanks to those members who responded to our Snap Poll on Glenview nurses workload. Your responses to our Snap Poll said workload is either ‘excessive’ or ‘very excessive’.

100% of respondents supported the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Tasmanian Branch (ANMF) seeking the following for the Enterprise Agreement (EA):

  • The right for employees who have concerns about their workload to initiate a workload review; and,
  • A regular consultative mechanism at which workload issues will be discussed.

Your ANMF bargaining team is continuing to advocate strongly at the bargaining table on the issues that matter to members. View the latest update

Updates are correct as of 1 October 2025.
